APRIL FAVOURITES

April, first of all HOW has it flown by so quickly. I really can't believe we're now in May and I'm going to be 24 at the end of the month (eek!). Here are the few bits that have been essential to my life this month.

1. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation (Tawny)
You may have seen my post back in February raving about this one. I'm down to my last couple of drops and would 100% repurchase. It's a great all rounder with excellent coverage, long lasting finish and a good range of shades. I struggle with acne scarring so I like that I don't have to build it up too much to cover my hyper-pigmentation.

2. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
I looked back to the high street when my Lancome Hypnose ran out and decided to pick up the much talked about Maybelline mascara. I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised, especially as I have the worlds stubbiest lashes. It makes them look full and long and can be easily built up. I'm not usually a fan of plastic wands but this one is easy to use and gets close to the roots.

3. Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer (Custard)
Winner winner, chicken dinner. This new concealer from Nars is my favourite under-eye concealer that I have ever used. It gives medium coverage which can be easily built up. The texture is light and almost mousse like, making it really easy to blend out. I use my finger which is the quickest way to build up coverage and spot conceal.

4. Ouai Clean Shampoo
All hail Jen Atkin! I was lucky enough to attend the Ouai London launch and meet Jen Atkin last year *fangirls*. I was gifted the Volume Shampoo which I loved but when it came to repurchasing I wanted to try a different one. I love both the Volume and the Clean version, but  I think I'm going to revert back to the Volume one - let's face it, I need all the help I can get giving life to my hair.

And that's it, the quick round up of beauty bits I have LOVED in April. I have been using new skincare but I'm saving them for a dedicated post. Let me know what you have loved this month...
